Uncommon, ofAdly bacterial infection is now in the United States. B. pseudomallei has now been found in soil and water samples along the Gulf Coast, the CDC warned. The infection can trigger a serious disease called melioidosis which is fatal in approximately 10-50% of infected people worldwide. Read more
