THURSDAY, July 28, 2022 (HealthDay News) — Seniors who take vitamin D supplements to improve bone health and prevent fractures are just wasting their time and money, a major new study has found.

Uncommon, ofAdly bacterial infection is now in the United States. B. pseudomallei has now been found in soil and water samples along the Gulf Coast, the CDC warned. THURSDAY, July 28, 2022 (HealthDay News) — A bacterium that causes a rare but serious illness was discovered in soil and water samples in the Mississippi Gulf Coast region after two people living nearby fell ill .

The United States is ordering nearly 800,000 more doses of monkeypox vaccine. As people line up for vaccines across the country, the new shipment is expected to vaccinate hundreds of thousands more at-risk Americans, officials said. Read more
